Lone Parents – Holidays & Information for Lone Parents on Holidays with Children

Information For Lone Parents

When on holiday with your children as a lone parent it can sometimes be daunting. With our company you can ask our small and friendly team anything you like. They are here to help and give advice on everything from where to go, what activities are there for the kids, and general help and advice to ensure you get the most out of your holiday with your kids.

When you call us to enquire about one of our holidays everyone in our office has visited at least one of our hotels and as well as single travelers, our team includes parents! You are sure to get good help and advice on which is the best holiday for you and your kids.

We believe that talking – and listening – to our customers is more important than having a website with online booking, so do call or email us for a chat, we are more than happy to help.

We can make recommendations about the right destination and accommodation for your budget and your children’s ages.  We can also explore regional flight options, because - if it flies from your local airport - we can book it. Details like this help our lone parents travelling with kids much easier and ensures the journey is stress free !

If you’re travelling on the same flight as another Holidays For Single Parents.com customer, we’ll suggest a rendezvous point at your UK airport.  When you land, our host will welcome you and your children with a soft drink before transferring you direct to the hotel.  Once everyone is settled in, we’ll get together for a welcome meeting – and the holiday starts!

What Can My Children Do?

Many of our hotels have a supervised children’s club or crèche and day-time activities are arranged in conjunction with qualified hotel staff.  This means your children can enjoy ‘their time’ – time to make friends with other children in our group and to play with other children staying at the hotel. This will help to ensure that you also can relax and take advantage of what the hotel has to offer.

Our house parties in Turkey and on the Greek island of Rhodes are run by Friendship Travel and the holiday weeks set aside for Holidays For Single Parents.com are exclusively for lone parents and children.  Although there is no supervised children’s club your family can relax in a self-contained and secure environment, chilling out by the pool with the other lone parents on holiday.

Lone Parents Time

If you are in search of quality ‘you time’ then you may prefer to opt for a holiday with a supervised children’s club so that you can head for the spa, learn to scuba dive or simply enjoy some time to yourself.

Our larger hotels offer plenty of facilities, a choice of swimming pools and lounge areas so that you can make time for yourself, safe in the knowledge that your children are having fun with others and being well-looked after by qualified staff.

Some hotels even provide early dinners for young children, with a nanny to supervise bed-time, allowing you to join other parents for an evening of grown-up food, wine and conversation.

Together Time

Holidays For Single Parents.com is perfect for families who want to enjoy quality time together, whether you want to play by the pool or go exploring as a family.

The Hotel Era in Turkey and Caesar’s Gardens on Rhodes offer particularly good value, laid-back holidays where lone parents and children can stay together and play together within our self-contained house party.

Wherever you travel with Holidays For Single Parents.com you’ll find people who share similar experiences, people with whom to eat dinner, swap books and talk.  Your children will find new friends to play with and a sense of freedom within the framework of the holiday.

And let’s not forget the destination!  From the volcanic desert of Lanzarote to Turkey’s Blue Lagoon our holidays have plenty of sightseeing potential.  Our host will be happy to suggest some group excursions so that you can explore with other families: a boat trip and lunch perhaps, or a 4x4 safari? It’s up to you.
