Oludeniz Turkey
This beautiful corner of Turkey is a firm favourite with British families. It is an idyllic combination of crystal clear seas, golden beaches backed by pine-clad hills and amazing sights well worth getting off your sun-bed for.
We are delighted to offer the Hotel Era, set at the top of the hill between Oludeniz and Hisaronu. This simple, modern hotel is well-run by husband-and-wife team Ergun and his wife Raziye.
Our sister company Friendship Travel has exclusive use of the Hotel Era throughout the summer season, so that we can add our own team to the Turkish staff and make the hotel a real home from home.
We have set aside a specific week for holidaysforsingleparents.com – when the only guests are single parent families and we can create a laid-back and informal houseparty for single parent families.
And our All-inclusive board basis at the Hotel Era means that you can budget with confidence, without having to worry about too many ‘extras’.
Hotel facilities
Hotel Era
The hotel is just 10 minutes from the golden sands and the Blue Lagoon at Oludeniz beach – that’s using the regular dolmus services, the minibuses that nip backwards and forwards all day and on to the larger resort of Fethiye about 10kms away.
All-inclusive Holiday Value
The Era, built in 1997, is officially rated 2-star and has all the key ingredients for a great value week in the sun.
The focus of the hotel is the turquoise swimming pool surrounded by good-sized sun terraces (sun-beds provided), with a shady bar and al-fresco dining areas. Though the hotel is modern, there are traditional touches such as the wood panelling of the bar and the odd hammock tucked away in shady corners of the garden.
The ensuite, twin-bedded rooms are a good size to accommodate one adult and one child. A third bed can be added to some rooms: please call us to discuss your family’s needs.
Each room is ensuite and bath and beach towels are provided – one less thing to pack! Standard ground floor rooms – on which the holiday price is based – have a terrace; rooms on the first and second floor have a small balcony.
The hotel is only a few minutes’ stroll from a good choice of bars and shops for after-dinner drinks and nightlife, as well as the weekly market. The bus-stop is just around the corner, for easy trips down to the Blue Lagoon or over to Fethiye.
Two hosts and our own kitchen and bar team are based here all summer, helping to create our unique houseparty-style holiday atmosphere.

What's included
All-inclusive Holiday Value
Your holiday package is based on direct flights (choose from a large number of regional airports), return transfers (approx 60 minutes) and accommodation in a twin room for 1 adult and 1 child on an all-inclusive basis.
All-inclusive details
Food is fresh, local and plentiful. We offer enough variety at every meal to appeal to adults’ and children’s palates. The buffet breakfast is a ‘come-when-you’re-ready’ feast; lunch is a plated salad or sandwiches and dinner in the evening is a set menu or buffet.
The All-inclusive package includes – from 10am until 10pm each day – unlimited local spirits for adults, including vodka, gin, raki and brandy, wine and beer, plus soft drinks and bottled water (all served by the glass). Ice creams are available between 12 noon and mid-afternoon and then it’s time for afternoon tea! Please note that dinner is not included on two evenings, to give you the chance to try out the local restaurants (at your own expense) either as a family or in a group with new friends.
Why not combine a houseparty at the Era with a houseparty afloat on a Turkish gulet?
Children's facilities
The Hotel Era does not operate a children’s club, but as we have the hotel to ourselves, children have, within reason, the run of the hotel and the spacious pool area, though their supervision remains your responsibility. There is a pool table, where children are welcome and a computer area – so pack their favourite games. The surrounding area offers a host of watersports and other activities.
